Desktop Support Technician (Onsite - North Austin) Contract through end of year \| 100% Onsite We are seeking a skilled, customerfocused Desktop Support Technician to join our End User Services team in North Austin. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys handson, facetoface technical support and thrives in a collaborative, peoplecentric environment. What You'll Do * Provide daytoday onsite support for end users * Deliver inperson troubleshooting for Windows and Mac devices * Maintain data accuracy within the asset management system * Refresh EndofLife (EOL) systems & support hardware lifecycle management * Provision computer assets for new hires * Assist with remediation of unhealthy SMS and antivirus clients * Support video conferencing and teleconferencing equipment * Review and fulfill enduser hardware requests * Represent the IT team in global device and service improvement projects * Serve as a trusted advisor to employees on tech best practices * Provide quick, confident issue resolution in a walkup support environment * Learn, adopt, and help train users on emerging technologies Top Required Skills * 2+ years of professional onsite Desktop Support experience (Facetoface support required-no phone-only support) * Strong troubleshooting skills across both Windows and Mac environments * Customer-facing background, such as: walk-up support, support desk, retail tech support Nice to Have * Active Directory experience * Strong customer service orientation * Familiarity with ticketing systems, VPN, WLAN/LAN, and TCP/IP * Understanding of client imaging, deployment, and testing * Experience with iOS and Android device support * Exposure to medium-large enterprise environments What We're Looking For * An energetic, personable technician who approaches support as consulting, not just break/fix * Someone who communicates clearly, builds trust, and delivers an outstanding user experience * A team player who enjoys a collaborative, casual environment and is passionate about technology Work Environment * 100% onsite in North Austin * Casual, "tech culture" atmosphere (jeans and t-shirt acceptable) * Fun, supportive, collaborative team * Monday-Friday, standard business hours Why This Role Is a Great Opportunity * Work hands-on in a highly visible, enterprise-level environment * Exposure to a diverse range of technologies-no siloed work * Chance to grow your technical career and gain skills across systems, networks, and infrastructure * Join a team that values innovation, customer experience, and continuous improvement Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Austin, TX. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
