About the Job

Job Duties:

  • Leads program management for Lab projects, including developing project management plans, setting internal deadlines, coordinating and attending team meetings, taking meeting minutes and other project management tasks (20%)
  • Assists with participating in recruiting and conducting informed consent with youth experiencing homelessness and staff at youth-serving agencies and conducting interviews and focus groups (10%)
  • Schedule, coordinate and help facilitate meetings with key community and cross-sector partners (10%)
  • Help develop and refine intervention strategies to improve health and health services for youth experiencing homelessness in collaboration with youth, community partners, and project staff (10%)
  • Manages all Lab operations, including team meetings, budget management, supplies purchasing and vendor and community partner payments (20%)
  • Assist in securing additional funding for Lab, including identifying potential funding sources and supporting grant application process (10%)
  • Co-supervise Lab team with Principal Investigator, including hiring processes (10%)
  • Assist with academic and community dissemination of project results, including presentations and publications (10%)

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Master Degree in related field
  • Experience supervising teams
  • Experience managing multiple projects at once
  • Commitment to centering equity in this work and to creating an inclusive, anti-oppressive, and safe work environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to connect with people and establish effective working relationships with team members, youth and diverse community partners
  • Organized, responsible, and detail-oriented
  • Experience managing research projects, including with focus group facilitation and IRB submissions
  • Experience in grant lifecycle management
  • Takes initiative, asks questions, clarifies directions and tasks as needed
  • Interest in working with youth
  • Works independently with support from supervisors and plan, organize, and prioritize workload in an efficient and timely manner
Pay and Benefits

Pay Range: $30.00 $39.00/hour; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
