Job Summary

Quality Control I is responsible for ensuring that products, processes, and procedures meet established quality standards throughout the production cycle. This role performs inspections, maintains documentation, and supports continuous quality improvement initiatives to ensure customer requirements are met.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performs regular inspections of materials, components, processes, and finished products to verify compliance with quality standards and customer specifications.
  • Follows and supports established quality assurance procedures, standards, and methods throughout all stages of production.
  • Assists in quality investigations by identifying nonconformities, documenting findings, and helping determine root causes and corrective actions.
  • Supports customer and thirdparty inspections, tours, and audits by providing required documentation and assisting with inspection activities.
  • Communicates quality findings, issues, and trends to appropriate internal personnel to ensure timely resolution.
  • Interacts with customers, suppliers, and thirdparty partners as needed to exchange qualityrelated information and clarify requirements.
  • Travels to customer, supplier, thirdparty, or training locations as required.
  • Maintains quality logs, checklists, prints, PPAP documentation, and other required records.
  • Participates in training, seminars, and classes to maintain and enhance quality assurance knowledge and skills.
  • Prepares qualityrelated reports and documentation as required.
  • Performs other qualityrelated duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in quality management, business, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience is preferred, but not required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in quality assurance, inspection, manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong attention to detail, problemsolving ability, and understanding of quality assurance principles.
