Summary:

ATS is looking for a qualifiedSubject Matter Expert for Joint Special Operations to support the Special Operations Mission Training Center Facilityat Fort Bragg, NC.

Job Duties:

Serve as the Service Support Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SOF Mission Command Exercises (MCX/MRX), integrating sustainment, logistics, personnel services, medical, and resource management functions into the SOMTC training environment.

Develop and incorporate realistic service support scenarios into exercise design, ensuring sustainment planning, distribution operations, maintenance, contracting, and force health protection challenges are replicated at the battalion through SOJTF level.

Synchronize service support warfighting functions with operations and intelligence elements, enabling mission command processes that reflect real-world SOF sustainment constraints and operational requirements.

Support planning, preparation, execution, and assessment of Mission Command Exercises, contributing to scenario injects, command post operations, and After Action Reviews (AARs) focused on sustainment effectiveness and operational reach.

Basic Qualifications:

* Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree.

* Special Skills/Qualifications Required: Graduate of the U.S. Army Special Forces Officer Qualifying Course or U.S. Army Military Information Support Officers Qualifying Course or U.S. Army Civil Affairs Officer Qualifying Course or U.S. Army Military Intelligence Officer Basic Leader Course (or other service equivalent) and a graduate of a U.S. military officer's intermediate or senior level service school.

* Minimal Background/Experience Required: Two years' experience in Special Operations Forces Headquarters staff positions specifically performing joint operations. One year experience researching, planning, preparing, coordinating, and executing Mission Command Exercises focusing on Theater Special Operations Command (TSOC) and/or Joint Special Operations Task Force (JSOTF) scenarios to train SOF units. Graduate of a Joint Forces Staff College program or school such as the Joint and Combined Warfighting School (JPME-II) or Joint Advanced Warfighting School, Joint, Interagency, and Multinational Planner's Course.

Preferred Qualifications:

Graduate of one or more of the following Joint Special Operations University (JSOU) (or equivalent) courses: Irregular Warfare Applied Intelligence Course, Joint Civil-Military Operations Campaign Planning Workshop, SOF Resource Management Course, and/or Irregular Warfare Advanced Course, and/or other JSOU or equivalent course(s). Knowledge of strategic-level theory, National Security Strategy, and National Military Strategy. Knowledge of the Joint Operating Environment. Knowledge of strategic national guidance relating to operational plans and campaigns, and how that further relates to tactical-level application and strategic relevance. Experience with intelligence systems acquisition capability, Advanced Military Intelligence relating to Irregular Warfare and/or SOF Operations. Knowledge of regular versus irregular intelligence support, armed groups and irregular movements, intelligence support to Unconventional Warfare (UW), and UW campaign planning factors.

Working Environment:The working environment is a high-security, fast-paced Special Operations training facility thatoperatesin direct support of mission-critical and time-sensitive training events. Personnel work closely with military leadership, government representatives, contractors, and visiting units, often in a dynamic environment with frequent schedule changes, after-hours requirements, and surge operations. The position requires strict adherence to Army physical security policies, discretion when handling sensitive information, constant attention to detail, and a strong customer-service mindset whileoperatingwithin controlled access areas and under Secret-level security clearance requirements
