What We're Looking For:

A collaborative and people-centered Human Resources Manager who will play a key role in shaping the Team Member experience at our hotel. You will work closely with property leaders and department heads to build a culture of belonging, deliver best-in-class HR support, and ensure operational excellence in all HR activities.

In this role, you will partner across departments to lead recruitment and onboarding efforts, support Team Member relations, oversee training initiatives, ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws, and be a trusted resource for both leaders and Team Members. Your work helps ensure our hotel is a great place to work, grow, and succeed.

What You'll Do:

  • Enter and maintain employee benefit status information within the hotel's HRIS.
  • Manage all database file maintenance related to benefits information.
  • Explain and discuss employee benefits; serve as a knowledgeable resource for Team Members.
  • Coordinate yearly open enrollment communications, materials, and meetings.
  • Coordinate 401(k) meetings to align with plan entry dates.
  • Assist with yearly benefit surveys and wellness initiatives.
  • Provide benefits information during newhire orientation.
  • Act as an intermediary to resolve issues between employees and insurance providers.
  • Coordinate and process all billing for employee benefits.
  • Oversee the FMLA/LOA process from start to finish, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance.
  • Train managers and supervisors on FMLA requirements and hotel procedures.
  • Assist the Director of Human Resources with ADAAArelated accommodations and processes.
  • Develop and coordinate modified work programs as appropriate.
  • Generate quarterly averagehours reports and other required HR data reports.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate benefits, leave, and employee records in all applicable systems.
  • Conduct exit interviews for departing Team Members and document feedback.
  • Assist the Director of Human Resources with Team Member issues, investigations, and terminations.
  • Assist the Director of Human Resources with compensationrelated tasks (e.g., turnover reporting, compensation, etc.).
  • Assist the Director of Human Resources with Workers' Compensation matters.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Regularly lift up to 45 pounds, reach, bend, crouch, kneel, push, pull, and walk.
  • Attend meetings and make presentations as required.
  • Maintain confidentiality and act with discretion at all times.
  • Travel occasionally for training or support needs.
  • Required to attend/complete all mandatory training sessions and meetings.
  • Regular attendance in conformance with standards.
  • May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs.

Your Experience Includes:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Hospitality Management, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of HR experience, ideally within luxury hospitality or a service-centric industry.
  • Strong working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Experience supporting recruitment, Team Member relations, and training programs.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problemsolving skills.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, handle sensitive information, and build trust.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint).
  • HR certifications (PHR, SHRMCP) a plus.
Salary range for this position, based on experience, is $72,000.00 to $90,000.00.
