Description

Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven and forward-thinking Program Administrator to join our amazing culture. In this role, you will assist with monitoring and coordinating operational requirements of assigned strategic initiatives. Assist team program team and leaders with delivering projects on time and meeting the respective goals, escalating issues as needed. Always represents Convergint as a leader by driving consistency in delivery of all Convergint services across multiple locations, regions and countries. As a Program Administrator, you are a part of a dynamic team that allows you to grow as Convergint grows.

  • Learn to effectively navigate a decentralized, matrixed business environment.
  • Assist with developing project charters and/or business plans if a project requires.


  • Assist with identifying project contributors and form project teams based on strategic goals of respective projects.
  • Assist with preparing for, conducting and guiding project collaborations. Learn to independently conduct a collaborative session in the absence of the program lead.
  • Record collaboration minutes and manage action items to include escalating as required.
  • Assist with managing project scopes and change control to include escalating as required.
  • Assist with monitoring project progress and performance, including benefits measurement.
  • Assist with making informed project decisions as well as form decision teams when needed.
  • Provide regular updates to Project and Executive Sponsors and Senior Leadership as required.
  • Ensure that all activities on the project are conducted in such a way that protects company assets and adheres to company values and beliefs, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist with developing project presentations as needed and present to stakeholders.
  • Assist with effectively transitioning to business operations with feedback.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products
    • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with ability to deliver presentations to multiple levels of an organization

              Requirements:

              Education: College degree, trade school or equivalent experience

              Minimum Experience: 4 years operations, field service or project management



              • Diploma and/or certificate in Business Administration or related office experience


              Preferred Experience (but not required):



              • Industry experience in 1 or more of the following: electronic security, fire alarm & life safety, building automation or IT industry
