You will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support tenants, visitors, and staff with clear communication and service-focused assistance. You will document observations, respond to security-related concerns, and collaborate with your team in a culture that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and grounded in integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas including lobbies, parking areas, loading docks, common areas, and perimeter points, as permitted by the assignment.
• Monitor access points and observe for unusual activity, unauthorized entry, and/or property hazards, and report concerns according to post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with medical calls, disturbances, and/or fire and alarm conditions as directed by site procedures.
• Complete routine documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and/or daily activity reports, and communicate updates to Allied Universal supervision and/or site management as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
