As an Allied Universal Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help support smooth operations by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing visitor and truck check-ins, and documenting security-related activity. You will remain highly visible, communicate clearly with team members and site personnel, and respond to incidents with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access at entry points by verifying identification and/or credentials, issuing temporary badges as directed, and maintaining accurate logs of visitors, employees, and contractors.
• Monitor inbound and outbound traffic at gates and loading areas, coordinating with operations staff to help support orderly vehicle flow and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting events and notifying site contacts and/or emergency services as required by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, warehouse areas, and perimeter, watching for irregular conditions and reporting maintenance, hazards, and policy concerns through the appropriate channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
