Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a government transportation location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and badge procedures. You will communicate clearly, deliver strong customer service, and document observations to support site operations. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and/or members of the public at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards and maintenance issues.
  • Control access at entrances and restricted areas by checking identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining access logs, and directing authorized individuals to the appropriate areas.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and service requests in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site personnel and/or local emergency services when needed.
  • Complete routine reports and incident documentation, communicate observations to supervision and/or site representatives, and follow post orders and escalation guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

  • CPR Certification preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Access Control/Badge Experience preferred.
  • Customer Service Experience preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
