As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help manage access control by checking credentials, issuing badges, and monitoring entry and exit activity. You will conduct routine patrols and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, while providing clear, professional communication to team members, drivers, and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, drivers, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access at gates and/or entry points by verifying identification, issuing badges or visitor credentials, managing sign-in logs, and directing traffic flow for delivery and pickup activity.
• Monitor and document vehicle and trailer movement by checking appointments, reviewing shipping or receiving paperwork, and coordinating with onsite operations for dock and yard access.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting concerns, completing required documentation, and escalating issues per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including exterior perimeter, parking areas, and warehouse-adjacent routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
