In this role, you will play a vital part in facilitating the importation of goods into the United States by accurately preparing entries, reviewing shipment documentation, and maintaining compliance with CBP requirements.

Here's what we're looking for.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Familiarity with CBP regulations

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process import entry documentation for ocean, air, and ground shipments.
• Accurately input data into customs brokerage software (e.g., Descartes, CargoWise, etc.).
• Review commercial invoices, bills of lading, and other required documents for compliance.
• Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, importers, and carriers.
• Monitor shipment statuses and assist in resolving holds or delays (e.g., customs exams, FDA/USDA releases).
• Ensure timely and accurate filing with U.S. Customs and other agencies.
• Maintain organized electronic and/or paper records of all entries and correspondence.
