DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will be responsible for preparing the dining area for meals, which includes arranging tables, laying out tablecloths, setting up tableware, and placing condiments for easy access. You will also assist the cook with food preparation tasks, ensuring that everything is ready for service. Once the meals are prepared, you will serve them to the guests at the Center, along with coffee and other beverages to enhance their dining experience. After the meals, your duties will involve cleaning the dining room and break area, which includes washing dishes, removing and laundering tablecloths, vacuuming the floors, and sanitizing hard surfaces to maintain a hygienic environment. Additionally, you will be tasked with cleaning and preparing guest bedrooms and bathrooms, which entails changing linens, vacuuming carpets, dusting surfaces, and thoroughly sanitizing toilets, showers, and bathtubs. Your role will also encompass general housekeeping responsibilities throughout the Center's facilities, including cleaning restrooms, vacuuming, and dusting various areas. You may be called upon to assist with more intensive cleaning tasks, such as steam cleaning carpets, to ensure that all spaces are kept in pristine condition for the comfort and satisfaction of the guests.

- This is a seasonal, full-time position with no healthcare benefits. There is not an option to buy into health care benefits. The season runs from approximately March 2026 until November 2026 at which time the employee will be placed on leave without pay. The employee will automatically be returned to employment March 2027.
- Employee will work 37.5 hrs./ days per week to include holidays, evenings and weekends
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
