Job Duties/Responsibilities:

The Art Recreational Therapist is responsible for planning and coordinating interactive recreational programs to help patients recover from illnesses or disabilities. Organizes therapy sessions, develops rehabilitation programs, and ensures treatment plans align with patients' physical condition and preferences.

    • Required: Bacherlor's Degree from an accredited school in arts.
    • Preferred: Master's Degree from an accredited school in arts.
  • Licensure/Certification:
    • Required: CTRS certification through the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification.
      • If you have a Master's Degree from an accredited school in arts you must be under supervision for certification or currently certified in ATR (LPATA with supervision or LPAT required).
  • Experience:
    • Required: 0 - 1 years of related experience.
    • Preferred: 1 - 3 years of related experience.
