Description

    Preparing, reviewing, revising, and maintaining technical documents including software and systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation
  • Developing various technical and programmatic documents with support from subject matter experts and
    engineers
  • Ensuring technical documentation is accurate, complete, meets government specifications, and adheres to standards for quality, graphics, coverage, format, and style
  • Writing and editing technical documentation for hardware and software to include installation, configuration, and how-to documentation
  • Supporting other technical papers as needed
  • Supporting training documentation development to include user guides and IETMs
  • Writing and updating material for reports, manuals, briefs, proposals, instruction books, catalogs, and related technical and administrative publications concerned with work methods and procedures, and installation, operation, and maintenance
  • Refining, heading, and coordinating activities of writers engaged in preparing technical,
    scientific, medical, or other material for publication in conjunction with or independent from
    manufacturing, research, and related activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's level degree in any field
  • Five years directly supporting C4I technical writing


Desired Skills

  • Microsoft Office Suite experience
  • Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) experience
