POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a Senior Support Specialist, Identity & Access Management (Okta) who will provide hands-on support for Sony Pictures Entertainment's (SPE) enterprise identity platforms and integrations across applications and infrastructure systems. This role collaborates with customers, development teams, security partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure secure, compliant, and scalable identity solutions that support business operations across the media and entertainment ecosystem.

    Location:Culver City, California (4 days mandatory work from SPE Lot)

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Provide technical and production support to implement, build, monitor, maintain, and continuously improve enterprise identity and access management (IAM) solutions based on business and security needs.

    • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert on Okta and related IAM platforms, covering configuration, authentication mechanisms, provisioning workflows, governance, release management, and adoption of new features.

    • Support business and technical users on IAM-related queries, access issues, onboarding/offboarding workflows, and priority requests.

    • Monitor, maintain, and deploy integrations between Okta, enterprise applications, cloud platforms, and downstream systems.

    • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize authentication flows, SSO integrations, provisioning connectors, and access policies to ensure high availability and security compliance.

    • Partner with security, application, and infrastructure teams to design and deploy IAM functionalities that integrate seamlessly with enterprise systems.

    • Participate in architecture and design discussions and provide scalable, secure technical solutions for IAM implementations and enhancements.

    • Establish and enforce identity governance, integration, and security best practices, ensuring compliance with enterprise and regulatory standards.

    • Provide oversight of system upgrades, patching, vulnerability remediation, and release testing within the IAM environment.

    • Work closely with business stakeholders, functional leads, and technical teams in an Agile framework to translate identity requirements into secure, scalable solutions.

    • Manage IAM application support operations and track KPIs/SLAs to ensure operational excellence and system reliability.

    • Lead incident and problem management efforts, including root cause analysis and remediation planning.

    • Drive automation of identity lifecycle processes to improve operational efficiency.

    • Honesty, trustworthiness, and ethical conduct are material requirements for the responsibilities outlined above.

    QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION

    Your qualifications and experience should include:

    • 6+ years of experience working in Identity and Access Management (IAM) environments with strong expertise in Okta Identity Cloud.

    • Hands-on experience working with SSO integrations, provisioning, IGA workflows, custom connectors, authentication policies, and lifecycle management.

    • Experience supporting Okta Access Gateway, troubleshooting authentication issues, investigating integrations, and analyzing logs/network traces to identify root causes.

    • Strong understanding of IAM governance, Segregation of Duties (SoD), policy enforcement, and regulatory compliance standards.

    • Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.

    • Possesses a comprehensive understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and demonstrates a strong process-oriented approach.

    • Experience working with agile processes and relevant collaboration tools.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • Demonstrates clear communication skills and direct experience working in an onshore-offshore collaboration model.

    The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $100,000 to $120,000. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
