The Surveying and Geomatics Business Unit is seeking a Geomatics Project Coordinator in Spokane, WA.

A Project Coordinator in Surveying and Geomatics supports Project Managers by tracking budgets, preparing invoices, and monitoring project costs to ensure work stays within scope. They organize contracts, process billing based on completed survey work, and maintain accurate financial records. Alongside coordinating Field Crews, they help keep projects financially organized and on schedule. In addition, they support project managers by assisting with proposals and preparing cost estimates.

What You'll Do Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support for Survey and Geomatics staff and project managers.
  • Partner with project managers to track budgets, review subconsultant invoices, and prepare accurate project invoices and progress reports.
  • Set up new project folders and oversee the maintenance of project files.
  • Provide quality management support for project deliverables.
  • Coordinate and schedule project and internal staff meetings.
  • Prepare meeting agendas and minutes and capture meeting notes.
  • Confidently coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to keep projects aligned with contractual and financial requirements.
  • Assist in project contract coordination, setup, and closeout.
  • Support the coordination of group events and conferences across the region.
What You Bring Required Qualifications:
  • Five years of experience in office administrative and project related duties.
  • Familiarity with surveying, engineering, or similar technical project environments.
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel and Adobe.
  • Experience coordinating and scheduling meetings for internal and external individuals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience multi-tasking and prioritizing competing requests.
  • Customer service or quality control experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience reviewing and tracking project financials (invoices, budgets, or subconsultant management).
  • Advanced skills in Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe.
  • Additional software skills in Access, PowerPoint, MS Project, or Windows Explorer.
  • Strong professional presence with the maturity and confidence to manage competing priorities and hold others accountable to deadlines.
