Description

    Participating in establishing quality standards for life cycle, documentation, development methods, testing, and maintenance
  • Specifying functional and non-functional requirements
  • Assisting in establishing quantitative measurements and techniques for measuring hardware quality
  • Establishing test standards and methods and conducting hardware testing
  • Reviewing and evaluating products and services for adherence to government directives, standards, and guidelines concerning quality assurance

Requirements

  • Minimum of five or more years work related experience
  • First Article Inspection experience and technical professional disciplines requiring use of related concepts, practices, and methods
  • Expert-level Surface Mount Technology (SMT) touch-up and rework skills, including the ability to perform complex soldering on standard-difficulty assemblies
  • The primary or most necessary skills required for this job are analytical skills
  • Other important skills include verbal and written communication skills and computer skills


Desired Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in performing and documenting FAIs to ensure the first production run meets all design specifications and AS9102 standards
  • Ability to perform root-cause analysis on hardware failures and use data-driven insights to establish quantitative quality measurements
  • Proficiency in designing test standards and conducting physical hardware testing using tools
  • Experience reviewing products for strict adherence to government directives, safety guidelines, and industry-specific standards
  • High proficiency in drafting lifecycle documentation, including test plans, maintenance methods, and quality manuals
  • Strong verbal and written skills for presenting complex quality findings to engineering teams and establishing company-wide development methods
  • Ability to work across departments to specify development methods that align with both hardware quality and production speed

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL
