Description

    Performing ongoing lead scrum master duties for 1-3 teams
  • Leading continual process improvement efforts for multiple teams' Agile processes
  • Working with team leads and subject matter experts to create backlogs, assisting with task breakdowns
  • Assisting with the development and documentation of agile processes and workflows
  • Developing reports, briefs, and other accompanying documentation needed for stakeholders
  • Enforcing processes within the team and follow up with individual contributors and leads when deviations to the process occur
  • Utilizing both written and verbal communications skills, and ability to work well in a team environment

Requirements

  • Self-starter who can lead and execute process improvement effort
  • Prior experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment
  • Certified Scrum Master, SAFe Certified Scrum Master, or other similar certification
  • Knowledge of the software development life cycle
  • Minimum of five or more years of industry experience
  • Ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance
  • Possess good time-management skills
  • Proven effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience with JIRA for task management and confluence for project documentation
  • Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills
  • Enjoys working with people in a fast moving, innovative environment
  • Adept at refinement, story management, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other scrum
    technique


Desired Skills

  • Fluent with Microsoft Office 365 (Planner, SharePoint) or Atlassian (Jira, Confluence) suites
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems or other technical discipline
  • Knowledge of test planning, test management, test execution, and automation
  • Knowledge of digital engineering / model based systems engineering practices
  • Experience working with technical requirements on military systems
  • Ability to provide Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Agile and Scrum training and coaching
