Patient Services Specialist - OnSite (Hilliard, OH) Location: Hilliard, OH 43026 Placement Type: ContracttoHire Expected Start Date: March 16, 2026 Interview Format: Oneround virtual interview Contract Duration: 5 months, with potential conversion to fulltime About the Role We are seeking an experienced Patient Services Specialist to support a fastpaced outpatient practice in the Hilliard, Ohio area. This position is ideal for someone who excels in patientfacing environments, maintains professionalism under pressure, and delivers consistent, highquality customer service. The specialist will be responsible for greeting patients, completing registration, verifying insurance information, collecting copays, and assisting new patients with required documentation. Strong multitasking and computer skills are essential for success in this role. Key Responsibilities * Warmly greet each patient with eye contact, a smile, and a positive, professional tone. * Guide new patients through registration paperwork and answer questions as needed. * Complete full patient registration and verify all demographics. * Perform insurance authorizations and verification processes. * Collect copays and follow all payment protocols. * Provide excellent customer service both in person and over the phone. * Assist with overall frontoffice workflow to maintain smooth patient operations. MustHave Qualifications * At least 1+ year of experience in a medical front desk, patient services, or general front desk/customer service role. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to multitask and handle a heavy workload. * Strong computer proficiency. * Prior experience in: * Medical or healthcare environments, * Front desk operations, * Patientfacing customer service. Work Environment & Flexibility Requirements This position is based at the Hilliard office, but the candidate must be flexible and able to cover up to three Hilliardarea locations as needed. Schedules are provided in advance; however, the specialist must be willing to fill in on short notice when necessary. Hilliard Office Hours: * Monday: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM * Tuesday: 7:00 AM - 2:00 PM * Wednesday: 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM * Thursday: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM * Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Compliance Requirements * Background check required. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hilliard, OH. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
