Security Officer - Unarmed Tech Site Rounds

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Tech Site Rounds in De Soto, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech and communications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts, and respond to needs with strong customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and/or visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating updates to site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office, lab, and/or campus areas, including exterior perimeters, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry points and common areas, verify credentials as required, and assist with visitor management, deliveries, and/or package screening according to site policy.
• Complete detailed shift reports and incident reports, report maintenance or operational concerns observed during patrols, and support security-related drills and post orders as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
