Job Description




As a Security Officer - Weekend Driver Patrol Unarmed in Milwaukee, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. Join Allied Universal supporting a government transit location as an unarmed patrol officer in a primarily driving post. You will conduct mobile and on foot patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related issues, respond to incidents, and assist riders and staff with calm, professional communication. This role requires a valid driver's license that meets AU Driver Policy Requirements and a commitment to teamwork, integrity, and a people-first culture.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff by following site-specific security-related procedures, access guidelines, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, platforms, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor assigned areas for suspicious behavior, unattended items, and/or policy violations, and communicate observations to site leadership and/or local response partners as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support and directing individuals to appropriate resources.
  • Complete detailed reports on incidents, patrol findings, and policy-related events, and maintain clear radio and/or phone communication throughout the shift.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions.
