SUMMARY Applies comprehensive knowledge and experience to solve complex or system problems: those typically solved solely by reference to maintenance manuals or similar documents. The Shift Supervisor may review work for general compliance with accepted practices. May also provide technical guidance and instruction to Technician 1. SECURITY RESPONSIBILITIES Must complywith all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval. All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.
Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education and/or Experience Position requires a Technical College Degree with 2 years of related experience in the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and operation of full flight simulators or an equivalent combination of technical education related to electronics, electromechanical, computer, aviation or simulation technology and/or hands-on related work experience in the maintenance and operation of full flight simulators that total a minimum of 4 years. 2 years of related experience may substitute for absence of Technical College Degree Language Skills Basic communication skills. Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical documents. Mathematical Skills Basic math skills. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, fractions, percentages and ratios to practical situations. Reasoning Ability Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and drawings. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusion.
