The Opportunity:

The Manager, Quality Engineer will lead cross-functional efforts to ensure the highest standards of product quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction. This role is responsible for overseeing field quality data analysis, driving root cause investigations, and implementing corrective and preventive actions across manufacturing and service operations. The manager will serve as the key liaison between factory, engineering, and customer service teams to resolve quality issues efficiently and proactively. In addition, this position will guide competitive benchmarking, develop quality improvement strategies, and champion process optimization initiatives that reduce cost of poor quality and enhance overall product performance. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of quality systems, and a passion for continuous improvement in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

Qualifications:



  • Lead the collection, analysis, and interpretation of product quality data from field performance, customer service calls, repairs, and returns to identify systemic quality issues and emerging product trends.
  • Oversee communication between factory, customer service, and engineering teams to ensure timely resolution of quality concerns and alignment on corrective actions.
  • Direct competitive product benchmarking and market analysis to identify quality gaps and drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance product reliability and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage the execution and validation of quality control programs, including data-driven testing, product assessments, and component inspections to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive quality performance reports and improvement plans to senior management and cross-functional teams.
  • Lead internal quality audits, monitor adherence to established standards, and champion the development of new quality measurement systems and procedures.
  • Ensure the accuracy and accessibility of service-related documentation, including bulletins, repair parts information, and service manuals.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor quality strategies, plans, and programs utilizing Six Sigma methodologies, statistical process control, and advanced data analytics.
  • Identify and drive process optimization and system redesign opportunities to strengthen internal controls, reduce cost of poor quality, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Mentor and develop quality engineering staff, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.


Qualifications / Education / Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in quality engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
  • Proven expertise in data analysis, root cause investigation, and implementation of corrective/preventive actions.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Comprehensive understanding of home appliance functionality, manufacturing processes, and quality systems.
  • Certification in Six Sigma, Lean, or Quality Management (e.g., ASQ CQE) preferred.
  • Korean/English Bilingual required.


Recruiting Range
$110,000 - $115,000 USD
