Union: Yes Bargaining Unit/Local: Office & Professional Employees International Union (AFL-CIO) Local 2 Rate Classification: Grade 4A- $24.82 per hour, per the Collective Bargaining Agreement Number of Positions Available: 1 Are you ready to be the frontline force that helps customers start their natural gas journey? Washington Gas is hiring an Inside Sales Support Clerk who will respond to new business inquiries, guide customers through the service request process, maintain accurate data across multiple tracking systems, and support our Inside Sales team from first contact to project assignment. What This Role Delivers: * Strong verbal/written communication and attention to details accurately interpreting, collecting and recording information is required. * Demonstrated effective customer service skills during customer interactions to meet company growth and service objectives. * Sound judgment in making decisions within established procedural guidelines. * Proficiency in software applications; MS Office, Outlook, Word and Excel.
