Description
At Aurorium, safety isn't a function - it's a shared responsibility. We are looking for a hands-on EHS leader who is passionate about injury prevention, operational excellence, and building a strong safety culture across multiple manufacturing sites.

This role partners closely with site leaders and front-line teams to embed EHS ownership into daily operations, while ensuring compliance with global company standards and regulatory requirements. Job Details

What You'll Do
  • Champion the mindset that every Aurorium employee is an EHS leader
  • Coach, mentor, and challenge leaders to strengthen safety culture and accountability
  • Provide functional leadership, coaching, and technical guidance to site-based Health & Safety managers to drive consistency, capability, and performance across locations
  • Spend significant time in the field (~50% travel) supporting the manufacturing sites
  • Identify health and safety risks and partner with sites to implement effective prevention programs
  • Develop corporate EHS procedures and support site adoption and consistency
  • Establish KPIs and evaluate site-level EHS performance
  • Support incident investigations, audits, risk assessments, and corrective action closure
  • Ensure timely reporting of injuries, illnesses, and near misses
  • Support OSHA Process Safety and EPA Risk Management Plan compliance
  • Assist sites with regulatory inspections and responses
  • Support the use of digital EHS management systems (e.g., Intelex)
  • Collaborate with corporate and site EHS teams on reporting and continuous improvement

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Health & Safety or related field
  • 10-15 yearsof EHS and industrial hygiene experience
  • 2+ yearsin leadership roles, working in a global matrix environment
  • Experience in chemical manufacturing, refining, or high-hazard environments
  • Proven ability to lead safety culture change and implement management systems
  • CSP, ASP, or similar certification preferred
  • Experience with ISO 14001/45001 and digital EHS systems preferred
  • Strong coaching, problem-solving, and influencing skills
  • Ability to travel 50%
