Kalman & Company is seeking to hire a Training Specialist to support Marine Corps Systems Command's (MCSC) Product Manager Infantry Weapons (PdM IW). PdM IW develops, procures, verifies, fields, trains, and sustains fully integrated infantry weapons, optics, anti-armor, and reconnaissance enhancing systems. Responsibilities include developing training materials and providing Marine Corps personnel, at Major Subordinate Commands and Reserve units, New Equipment and Sustainment Training. This position is contingent upon a contract award in the Spring of 2026.

Primary duties will include (but not limited to):



  • Draft/update instructor guides, student outlines and program of instructions, lesson plans, student assessments, test material, and attendance rosters in accordance with NAVMC 1553.1A, Systems Approach to Training (SAT) and Education.
  • Aid in the planning and execution of new equipment and sustainment training events.
  • Support fielding efforts including equipment inventory and reissue of assets to the unit with a detailed equipment demonstration and validation of the ability of unit personnel to operate and maintain the capabilities of the equipment.
  • Support Field User Evaluations and Test Events, perform Instructor & Key Personnel Training as required.
  • Support outreach events such as program office sponsored industry days, community outreach, and Marine Weeks.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.


KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:



  • Must be able to develop military training materials in accordance with SAT and other Service applicable training policies/guidance.
  • Must be able to perform periods of instruction for large audiences.
  • Must be able to use the Microsoft Suite of Tools.
  • Must certify as a Range Safety Officer for MCB Quantico within 90 days of start.
  • Must acquire a General Services Administration (GSA) license to operate government vehicles in support of range operations within 90 days of start.
  • Ability to travel OCONUS and CONUS to conduct training at Government facilities.


EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:



  • Us Citizenship is Required.
  • Must have an Active Secret Clearance.
  • Bachelor's (or equivalent) with 10+ years of USMC training experience, or a master's and 5 to 7 years of USMC training experience.
  • Experience with infantry weapons, combat optics, anti-armor, mortars, and force protection systems, as well as systems that support the amphibious and aerial insertion of reconnaissance Marines into the battlespace.
  • Experience developing consensus across stakeholders for new training programs (Desired).
