We are currently looking for an Engineering/Data Analytics Intern to join our team in Huntsville, AL. Responsibilities: MTSI is seeking a highly motivated student for a cooperative educational (co-op) position in our Huntsville, AL office. This position is focused on Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (MS&A) of homeland defense scenarios. Responsibilities include: Learning and utilizing existing software applications to define, configure, and execute simulation scenarios Processing simulation outputs to perform data analysis and to derive meaningful insights Creating professional presentations to effectively communicate analysis results Collaborating with the team to refine simulations and improve analytical methodologies Qualifications: Engineering student with a focus on engineering, data science and/or computer science fields GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale Desired Skills Availability to work full-time, in-office during the performance period Desire to learn new skills and topics Self-motivated and able to work independently or in a team MATLAB and/or Python with knowledge of reading/parsing data files, data filtering and plotting Knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts Knowledge of Git and Agile development methodologies Experience with Linux operating systems Clearance:Active Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain/maintain a US government security clearance.
