Security Officer - Full-Time Facility Patrol

As a Security Officer - Full-Time Facility Patrol in ST JOSEPH, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to reduce security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with site teams, document observations, and respond to situations with professionalism and care. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, contractors, and employees by following site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and post orders at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, tank farms, warehouses, parking lots, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious conditions.
• Control access at designated entry points by checking identification, verifying authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and documenting deliveries and/or contractor arrivals per site requirements.
• Complete detailed incident reports, daily activity logs, and patrol documentation, and communicate observations to oncoming personnel and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
