What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and tenants at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of lobbies, common areas, offices, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor flow, verify identification and/or authorization as required by post orders, and assist with directing employees, contractors, and guests.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, fire alarms, maintenance issues, and/or disruptive behavior, and notify the appropriate contacts.
• Complete detailed reports and logs of patrols, incidents, and unusual activity, and communicate updates to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• The client requires proof of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
