POSITION SUMMARY :

Sugarbush Resort is looking for a Lodging Properties Manager to oversee the Lodging and Hospitality operations for the Lodge at Lincoln Peak. This includes lodging and related functions, retail, condominium owner services, and maintenance. This is a full-time year-round position with a pay range of $60,000-$65,000 annually based on experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Lodge at Lincoln Peak, including supervising, planning, hiring and scheduling staff, and completing payroll. This also includes inventory, room amenities and aesthetics, along with keeping an open and working relationship with the resort facilities department to manage interior and exterior building maintenance.
  • Set goals and objectives for the department that include Net Promoter scores, service and budget.
  • Manage and work towards excellence as it relates to the guest experience. This includes survey responses, guest expectations and satisfaction, service quality, and issue resolution.
  • Develop a staff to accomplish goals and objectives. Create job descriptions and review staff performance compared to set expectations.
  • Manage costs and revenues to include product, pricing, yield management and purchasing. Prepare an annual budget and be accountable to meet the budget.
  • Work closely with Sales and Marketing to integrate Lodging with available products.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prefer college degree in business or hotel management. Minimum of 5 years experience in lodging/hospitality with at least 3 years experience managing an operation of similar size and scope.
  • Working conditions primarily inside standing or seated behind desk area. Must possess the ability to deal with a variety of operations spread over a large geographic area. Must be able to travel around the resort freely, and up and down stairs often. Potential long hours especially during periods of high business demands.
