Job Summary: The Size Weight Mixer is responsible for accurately preparing and mixing sizing solutions used in the textile preparation process. This role ensures that all size formulations meet required specifications for viscosity, weight, and chemical composition to support efficient weaving operations and maintain product quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Must be able to Lift, Drive Forklift, Mix Chemicals, Climb Ladders, Use basic Math, Log Information, use Cranes/Hoist Measure, weigh, and mix raw materials (starch, binders, softeners, and other chemicals) according to approvedformulations. Prepare size batches in accordance with production schedules and technical specifications. Monitor and control temperature, viscosity, and consistency of size mixtures. Operate and maintain mixing tanks, agitators, pumps, and related preparation equipment. Perform quality checks and record batch data accurately in production logs. Coordinate with supervisors and quality control personnel to ensure proper size performance. Follow all safety procedures when handling chemicals and operating machinery. Attend all Safety meetings and wear proper PPE Use overhead Cranes/Hoist Maintain cleanliness and organization of the mixing and storage areas. Report equipment malfunctions or formulation deviations immediately.
