A Taste of What You'll Do

Join Gallo Winery as a Warehouse Forklift Operator and be part of a team that keeps our operations moving safely and efficiently. You'll operate a clamp or forklift to pick customer orders, load and unload trailers, move finished goods and packaging materials, and support day-to-day housekeeping and stretch-wrapping tasks. Accuracy matters here - you'll scan LPNs, use our inventory system for cycle counts, inspect pallet patterns and case prints, and help maintain inventory integrity.

You'll follow established safety procedures, participate in certification and re-certification for clamp and forklift operation, and apply technical training to your role. We encourage problem solving, clear communication across Ops and Supply Chain, and sharing ideas for process improvements that reduce costs and improve service. A sense of urgency, reliability, and the ability to multi-task are essential.

What You'll Need

  • High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate, plus previous forklift, clamp lift or heavy machinery operations experience.
  • Required to comply with company GMP policies.
  • Required to work overtime as needed.
  • Required to work any shift as needed.
  • Required to be at least 18 years of age.
  • Required to lift and move up to 60 lbs.
  • Required to pass in-house clamp and forklift skills tests to become a Certified Forklift and Clamp Driver
  • Must be able to re-certify Clamp Driver skills attained as required.
  • Required to be physically capable of executing all essential functions of the job.
  • Must be able to operate and utilize the computerized inventory system.
  • Accepts constructive feedback and alters behavior accordingly.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
