Position Summary:

In the Sourcing Coordinator position, you'll own day-to-day, tactical escalations, helping ensure service issues are resolved quickly, fairly, and consistently while supporting ticket- and case-level service provider negotiations with urgency, sound judgment, and a strong customer focus. You'll play an important role in sharing insights that drive a stronger service supply chain by managing time-sensitive issues, maintaining accurate data and documentation, and identifying trends that inform future process and supplier improvements.

  • Ability to prioritize competing requests by applying sound judgment to balance urgency, customer impact, and business outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to use data and digital tools to track escalations, identify patterns, and support continuous improvement efforts.

What You'll Do and Impact:

  • Own incoming tactical escalations, working directly with service providers to resolve cost, timing, or service issues in a way that protects customer value and supports positive supplier relationships.

  • Support ticket-level negotiations and issue resolution under time pressure, escalating complex or high-risk matters appropriately.

  • Track and document escalation activity, ensuring accuracy of service provider information, documentation, and system data.

  • Identify recurring issues and trends, sharing insights with Sourcing and cross-functional partners to inform process or supplier improvements.

  • Partner closely with Sourcing Associates and customer-facing teams to ensure escalation learnings are visible and actionable.

  • Support the adoption of new tools, workflows, and processes that improve escalation handling and operational efficiency.

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.

  • 0-3 years of experience in sourcing, supply chain, operations, negotiations, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Items of Interest:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, service-oriented or operations environment.

  • Exposure to supplier communication, ticketing systems, or data tracking tools.
