Marketing Coordinator


McMillen, Inc. is seeking a self-motivated Marketing Coordinator with a minimum of 3 years of marketing proposal experience. Candidates must have a bachelor's in marketing, business, journalism, PR, communications or English and possess a strong desire to grow both personally and professionally with each marketing effort. The Marketing Coordinator will be provided the opportunity to work closely with sales, marketing, operations and senior management in the development of high quality, professional and consistent proposals, presentations and other sales related documents for Engineering and Construction projects.


Responsibilities:



  • Ensure client satisfaction within Business and/or Client Group
  • With minimal supervision, are responsible for independently performing research, writing, editing and proposal production and coordination on a variety of marketing efforts.
  • Support Marketing department on proposals and take the lead on major/strategic efforts; edit, write, coordinate and ensure compliance; oversee preparation/writing of proposal sections.
  • May establish pre-production document management and file-sharing processes on some proposals.
  • Coordinate content collection with teaming partners and subcontractors as needed.
  • Use communication skills to exchange proposals/marketing information with others.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Journalism, Public Relations, Communications or English
  • 3-5 years of marketing proposal work experience.
  • Proficiency in InDesign, MS Office and PowerPoint
  • Exemplary organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, superior character and integrity and highly organized self-start with strong work ethic
  • Previous proofreading experience
  • Experience in engineering, construction, or architecture industries highly preferred
  • Experience working on federal proposal development (i.e. SF330) a plus.
  • Experience working on design-build proposal development a plus.


Compensation Package:



  • Pay Range: $73,000 - 87,000 (DOE)
