Job Summary

Assumes responsibility for the coordination, facilitation and evaluating multidisciplinary arts programs and events. Plans, develops and coordinates art initiatives at RNC and NRS Residential campuses.

Essential Functions
  • Develop integrated arts programming for adults of all skill levels at RNC Campus, Long term care and NRS Residential Services.
  • Coordinate, facilitate and evaluate multidisciplinary arts programs and events. Coordinate planning, scheduling and delivery of all art programming with designated staff.
  • Work with individuals and groups, internal and external, regarding program development and delivery.
  • Lead a team of assigned program staff and volunteers through positive leadership.
  • Together with Quality of Life Director and Program Director/NRS Residential, recruit and coordinate staffing and volunteer requirements for arts program.
  • Plan, develop and coordinate art initiatives at RNC and NRS Residential campuses.
  • Cultivate community-based arts by building a network of arts supporters through liaison with other arts organizations as well as relationships with diverse artists. Research and develop resources for arts programming.
  • Identify needs and opportunities in order to facilitate community development through the arts.
Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent education and experience) in a related field
  • Experience in the area of integrated arts programming for adults in long term care and specialized residential services for individuals with traumatic brain injury.
  • Demonstrated experience in the planning, development, coordination, and promotion of an arts program and related events.
  • Experience working with adults in a healthcare setting.
