Revenue Cycle A/R Auditor
Location: REMOTE

Schedule: Full-Time
Hourly Compensation: $23 - $25 DOE


Position Overview:
The Revenue Cycle A/R Auditor plays a crucial role within the revenue cycle, focusing on the oversight and evaluation of various reports associated with billing and revenue processes. Through diligent auditing, this position is responsible for identifying potential issues and discrepancies related to revenue generation and billing. These findings are directly connected to operational concerns, as well as billing-specific issues and emerging trends, ensuring that the organization maintains optimal financial performance and compliance.

Responsibilities:
* Analyze data and create comprehensive reports for management, including Operations, billing, executive leadership and Ethics & Compliance.
* Frame audit findings using criteria (expected standard), condition (what was found), and cause (why it happened).
* Monitor revenue reporting to maintain consistent positive trends and promptly notify relevant parties when problems arise.
* Offer insights to Revenue Cycle management concerning billing patterns and potential concerns.
* Think and analyze independently with minimum guidance and supervision.
* Complete every task with unparalleled competence.
* Communicate clearly, crisply, and grammatically correct both orally and in writing.
* Appreciate the interrelationship of dispatch practices, clinical practices and documentation, and billing requirements and procedures.
* Deep attention to detail.

Qualifications:
Education
* High School diploma or GED required

Required Experience
* Strong proficiency with computer applications and software, especially Microsoft Excel and other Office programs such as Word and PowerPoint
* Skill reviewing data points, understanding expectations and determining variances from expectations
* Recognition of data trends
* Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
* Knowledge of correct grammar and punctuation when drafting written documents

Preferred Experience
* Work in the ambulance industry
* Familiarity with healthcare billing and collections, including regulatory compliance
