Your Role

The Senior Manager, Program Implementation will report to the Director, CalAIM. In this role you will be the drive process excellence, analyze and address highly complex operational issues and initiatives. The role will also help in finishing the development, execution, and implementation of the California Advancing and Innovating Medi-Cal program (CalAIM) and House Resolution 1 (H.R.1) passed at the federal level. The new laws and regulations will need to be implemented to ensure compliance and continued excellence of Promise Health Plan in the new regulatory environment.

Hybrid

This role requires employees to be in-office based on our hybrid workplace model, balancing purposeful in-person collaboration with flexibility. For most teams, this means coming into the office two days each week.

Employees living more than 50 miles from an office location will work with their manager to determine in-office time based on business need.

Your Knowledge and Experience

  • Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Requires at least 10 years of prior relevant experience, including 4 years of people management experience
  • Requires experience implementing large regulatory changes for a managed care plan
  • Requires Medi-Cal regulatory and health plan operations experience
  • Requires demonstrated experience collaborating with external public agencies, including county departments, state agencies, regional authorities, and community partners to support program objectives and operational alignment
  • Project management professional (PMP) certification strongly preferred

  • Ability to effectively maneuver through organizational dynamics and tailor approach to ensure optimal outcome
  • Advanced knowledge and skills including technical or functional expertise, business acumen, financial analysis skills, risk management, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
  • Experience leading crossfunctional teams to build and operationalize processes that integrate people, technology, data, and policy components
  • Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and optimize endtoend business processes
