  • The hospital's RN residency program is accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Practice Transition Accreditation Program and Pathway to Excellence, ensuring high-quality training for nurses.
  • The Registered Nurse is primarily responsible for using the nursing process of assessment, nursing diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide care to assigned patients.
  • Responsible and accountable for identifying and prioritizing needs, formulating the plan of care, prioritizing/managing/delegating interventions, and collaborating with the physicians and other members of the interdisciplinary team.

Job Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school
  • Current Registered Nurse license in Oklahoma
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • One or more years of experience in a Step-Down Unit
  • Med/Surg experience with an aptitude for developing new skills will be considered
