Title: CNC Machinist (Aerospace/Manufacturing) Location: Jacksonville, FL 32254 Duration: 6 months Contract to Hire Payrate: $25/hr. on w2 without benefits Shift: Sunday - Thursday 10:15 pm - 6:15 am with a paid 20 minute lunch. Note: Do you have 5 years' experience minimum with lathes, mills. Okuma, Nakamura, and Haas machines. 5-axis, turret? Must have HSD copy or transcript? Role & Responsibilities: Set up and operate production machines; perform cutting, drilling, reaming, forming, and rework as required. Perform close-tolerance operations including tapping, chamfering, countersinking, and counterboring. Adjust feeds, speeds, and depth of cut to ensure part quality per documentation. Inspect parts using measuring instruments, gauges, and magnification equipment to verify specifications. Deburr and finish parts to remove sharp edges and surface defects. Required Skills: MUST have CNC on the resume to be considered. 5 years' experience minimum with lathes, mills. Okuma, Nakamura, and Haas machines. 5-axis, turret. Aerospace experience preferred. Ability to read blueprints and perform shop math (including trigonometry). Education: High school Diploma.
