Position Summary

The Regional People Services Manager partners closely with regional leaders to provide both strategic and hands-on support across all areas of People Services. This role is a trusted advisor to management and employees, driving initiatives in talent management, employee relations, coaching and development, compensation, performance management, and safety.

This position plays a critical role in shaping a high-performing, engaged workforce while ensuring People Services strategies align with Sunstate's business objectives and growth initiatives

What You'll Do

People Relations

  • Build trust-based relationships with leaders and employees to advise and guide teams.
  • Provide strategic thought leadership on driving business results through people.
  • Coach managers on performance management, employee development, and feedback.
  • Offer expertise in employee relations, compensation, coaching, and training.
  • Deliver timely education and guidance on HR-related matters across all levels.


Talent & Organizational Development

  • Identify and implement talent management programs to enhance team capabilities.
  • Partner with People Services and market leadership to support strategic business growth.
  • Support and refine programs related to recruiting, retention, compensation, and training.
  • Collaborate with Learning & Development on initiatives such as succession planning, leadership development, career mobility, and performance management.
  • Educate leaders on pay-for-performance practices, merit guidelines, and compensation cycles.


Employee Experience

  • Champion a culture of excellence where employees feel engaged and inspired.
  • Lead key HR processes across assigned markets (performance calibration, compensation cycles, promotions, etc.).
  • Personalize the employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle.


People Analytics & Insights

  • Analyze workforce data (turnover, compensation, overtime, job levels, etc.) to identify trends.
  • Provide proactive, data-driven solutions and recommendations to leadership.


What You Bring

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Manager.


Qualifications
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to align People Services initiatives with operational goals.
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred
  • Ability to operate at all levels - strategic, operational, and tactical.
  • Deep knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High integrity and commitment to compliance and company values.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience leading employee experience and change management initiatives.
