Overview
Are you interested in building and evolving Microsoft Office Copilot experiences used by millions of people every day? Do you enjoy working on userfacing features, distributed systems, and AIpowered experiences where engineering quality and iteration really matter? The Office Copilot Front Doors team is looking for a Software Engineer II who is excited to grow their technical depth while owning meaningful parts of Copilot experiences across Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. In this role, you will design, build, and ship features endtoend, working closely with partner teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and userfocused solutions. Our team focuses on delivering highquality, personalized Copilot entry points that help users get value quickly and consistently. You'll work across the stack, contribute to system design, and use data and experimentation to guide decisions and improvements over time. This role is a great fit for an engineer who enjoys learning, takes pride in clean and maintainable code, and wants to grow scope and ownership with the support of a collaborative team. You'll have opportunities to deepen your engineering skills, learn how largescale products are built and operated, and work alongside experienced engineers and partners across Microsoft. Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
