This is a hybrid role, with onsite work averaging three days per week at Grosse Pointe Hospital. While primarily based at Grosse Pointe, this corporate position may require periodic travel to other Corewell Health East sites to collaborate on quality and patient safety initiatives. As a Quality Improvement Specialist Senior - Site Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in advancing high-quality care and exceptional patient experiences across Corewell Health. Serving as the primary quality partner for designated facilities, you'll establish trusted relationships with site and system leaders, align local priorities with system-wide quality strategies, and help translate organizational goals into meaningful, measurable improvements. Embedded within the sites you support, you'll act as a connector between operations, clinical teams, and system stakeholders-guiding coordinated improvement efforts that strengthen performance, consistency, and outcomes across the care continuum. Job SummaryDrives projects throughout the organization including both clinical and non-clinical areas to accomplish measurable quality improvement. Work assignments are typically more complex involving multi-disciplinary teams. Analyzes and measures the effectiveness of existing processes and drives sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable quality improvement. Collects and analyzes process and/or quality data to initiate, develop, and influence operational practices and procedures that focus on enhanced quality outcomes. Facilitates large improvement projects in coordination with leaders and providers to drive continuous improvement. Flexible in adapting to changing priorities. Mentors colleagues in improvement science application across the organization. Drives strategic quality goal setting to influence strategic priorities. Essential Functions
