Now Hiring - Logistic Assistant Location: Cedar Falls, IA 1st Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Pay: $20/hr. About the Role: We're looking for a reliable and detail-oriented team member for a Logistics Assistant position in Cedar Falls. This role combines front desk reception duties, coordination with drivers, data entry, and general warehouse support. You'll be a key part of keeping our shipping and receiving process running smoothly. Key Responsibilities: * Greet drivers/vendors, answer phones, and provide front desk support * Instruct truck drivers on where to go and assist with check-in procedures * Receive, inspect, and log incoming shipments for accuracy and damage * Verify packing slips, bills of lading, and purchase orders * Enter shipment and inventory data into the Warehouse Management System * Prepare outgoing shipments - packaging, labeling, documentation * Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records * Schedule pickups and coordinate deliveries with carriers * Assist with inventory counts and stock tracking as needed * Perform warehouse work as required What We're Looking For: * Reliable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment * Comfortable interacting with drivers and supporting front desk operations * Basic computer skills and ability to enter data into systems * Willing to assist with physical warehouse tasks when needed * Previous warehouse or shipping/receiving experience helpful but not required What We Offer: Consistent first shift schedule Competitive hourly pay at $20/hr Opportunity to learn multiple aspects of warehouse logistics Supportive team environment | |
