Genesis10 is seeking a Senior Power Platform Engineer - Copilot & Power BI. This is a 6- month contract position with a banking client located in OH. This is a hybrid position requiring 4 days on-site per week. Compensation: $55.00-70.00 per hour, depending on skill and experience level. Summary: We are seeking a Senior Power Platform Engineer to design and deliver scalable automation solutions that drive productivity across sales and business teams. This role focuses on building Power Platform applications, Power BI analytics, and AI-powered Copilot chatbots, while also mentoring junior engineers and establishing automation best practices. You will partner with stakeholders to identify automation opportunities, design tailored solutions, and integrate low-code tools with enterprise systems. Responsibilities: Solution Design & Delivery Design and implement end-to-end automation solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse) Build AI-powered chatbots and virtual agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio to support goals, incentives, and sales workflows Develop Canvas and Model-Driven Power Apps to streamline business processes (e.g., automated presentation generation) Create Power BI dashboards and reporting to provide actionable insights for business teams Integrate solutions with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Dynamics 365, APIs, Azure services, and legacy systems Automation Strategy & Governance Identify new opportunities to automate tools and processes across sales and operations Establish reusable automation frameworks, standards, and best practices Implement ALM and DevOps practices for Power Platform deployments Ensure scalability, performance, and security of solutions Technical Leadership Mentor and coach junior engineers on automation design and Power Platform development Lead troubleshooting and production support for automation solutions Communicate technical concepts and business value to non-technical stakeholders Anticipate risks, resolve complex issues, and escalate when appropriate Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 7+ years of technical experience in automation, application development, or low-code platforms Hands-on expertise with Power Platforms: Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven) Power Automate Experience building dashboards and reports with Power BI Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio (topics, entities, triggers, integrations) Strong problem-solving, analytical, and stakeholder communication skills Experience working in Agile, cross-functional environments Desired (Nice-to-have): Power Fx and custom connectors Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, or REST APIs Experience with Dataverse, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and API integrations AI Builder, Copilot integrations, or Azure OpenAI Basic scripting (JavaScript, PowerShell, or C#) UX/UI design for apps or chatbot experiences Banking or financial services experience Microsoft certifications (PL-100, PL-200, PL-400, PL-900) Benefits: Genesis10 provides Medical, Vision, Dental, 401(k), Health Savings Account, Commuter Benefits (Dallas, NYC, SF), Sick Pay (for applicable states/municipalities), Voluntary Hospital Indemnity (Critical Illness & Accident), & Group Term Life Insurance.
