Real Estate Attorney (Transactional) Lalezarian Properties - Lake Success, NY Lalezarian Properties, an established real estate development and management firm headquartered in Lake Success, New York, is seeking a full-time, business-oriented Real Estate Attorney to support its commercial and residential portfolio. The company builds and operates multifamily, office, and retail properties throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn, Long Island, and other markets. This role will report directly to the company principals and will be responsible for a broad range of transactional and legal matters related to real estate development, acquisitions, financing, leasing, construction, and general corporate affairs. Key Responsibilities: Review, draft, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, leases, construction agreements, and related transactional documents Review, draft, and negotiate commercial leases Provide legal guidance on acquisitions, lender financing, development projects, and ongoing property operations Collaborate closely with outside counsel, state and local agencies, and internal teams, including development, leasing, property management, and accounting Participate in meetings and conference calls as required Attend court proceedings on behalf of the landlord when necessary (this is not very frequent) Qualifications: Minimum of 7-10 years of substantive transactional real estate experience, preferably with a large or mid-sized New York or Long Island law firm Active license to practice law in the State of New York Strong drafting, negotiation, research, and analytical skills Excellent verbal, written, and presentation abilities with exceptional attention to detail Highly organized with the ability to maintain accurate electronic files and records Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment High level of integrity, professionalism, and sound judgment Motivated, proactive, and eager to engage in all aspects of a dynamic real estate development and investment organization Work Schedule: This is a full-time, in-office position, 5 days a week from Monday through Friday. The attorney may occasionally be required to respond to emails from company principals outside normal business hours during time-sensitive transaction deadlines.
