This is an exciting opportunity to use your experiencetomodernize a leading, global-scalemulti-cloud environmentin support of a critical mission, supporting USAF system resiliency, security, and cost effectiveness.

Primary ResponsibilitiesCould Include:

We are seekingCloud Engineerswithexpertisein multiple cloud platforms.A successfulindividual willbe responsible fordeveloping in a scalable cloud-native solutions, and ensuring best practices across architecture, development, deployment, and security.This is a hands-on technical role that requires rolling up your sleeves to architect, code, debug, and mentor.



  • Performsystems requirements analysis, functional analysis, and requirements allocation for cloud and hybrid environments.

  • Design, implement, and support scalable, resilient, and secure cloud solutions in AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and/or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

  • Supportcloud architecture design activities, including evaluation of technical alternatives, cost, risk, and supportability.

  • DevelopandmaintainInfrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

  • Deploy, configure, integrate, and support applications in cloud environments.

  • Assistwith containerization and orchestration using technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Supportcloud environment performance, availability, scalability, and reliability.

  • Assistwith system integration, verification, validation, and testing activities.

  • Implementand support security best practices, including identity and access management, logging, monitoring, and vulnerability remediation.

  • Monitorsystem health andassistwith troubleshooting, incident resolution, and root cause analysis.

  • Supportcloud modernization efforts, including migration of legacy systems and adoption of cloud-native services.

  • Configureand troubleshoot cloud, virtual, and supporting infrastructure components.

  • Createandmaintaintechnical documentation, system diagrams, and operational procedures.

  • Collaboratewith developers, operations, security, and customer stakeholders to support solution design and implementation.

  • Coachandprovidetechnical guidance to junior engineers as needed.

  • Followestablished engineering, DevOps/DevSecOps, and quality assurance processes and standards.



MinimumQualifications


  • Bachelor's degree with4-8 yearsof relevant experience, orMaster'sdegree with2-6 yearsof relevant experience.Additionalexperience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • Secret Security Clearance required

  • U.S. citizenshiprequired.

  • CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification (IAT Level II).

  • Hands-on experience supporting cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI).

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code, automation, or DevOps/DevSecOpstools.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native development practices.

  • Working knowledge of Linux/Unix systems, networking fundamentals, and version control tools (Git).

  • Proficiencyin at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., Python, Bash).

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.



Preferred Qualifications


  • Experiencesupporting DoD or USAF cloud environments (e.g., Cloud One, Platform One).

  • Familiaritywith Zero Trust concepts and secure cloud architectures.

  • Experiencewith monitoring and logging tools such as Elastic, Splunk, Prometheus, or Grafana.

  • Exposureto container platforms such as Kubernetes and Docker.

  • Experiencewith cloud-based identity solutions (Active Directory, Azure AD, IAM).

  • Cloudcertifications in AWS, Azure, Google, or Oracle.
