Contract Length: 3-6 Months Work Environment: Onsite Location: Westlake Village, CA Experience Level: Entry Level Overview We are seeking a detailoriented Treasury Operations Specialist for a 3-6 month onsite contract in Westlake Village. This role supports banking operations, financial administration, account management, and various treasury functions. It's a great opportunity for someone with strong Excel and communication skills who is looking to gain handson experience in banking or finance. Key Responsibilities * Manage banking relationships, including ongoing monitoring of bank standing and ratings. * Open, maintain, and oversee bank accounts and related services. * Process deposits and manage placement fees (interest earned on deposits), including monthly reconciliation across multiple banks and hundreds of accounts. * Oversee fraud protection services and ensure controls are maintained. * Process all bank transactions (wires, ACH, checks). * Assist with escheatment reporting for unclaimed checks across all states through a vendor. * Prepare various monthly operational and financial reports. * Manage user access for ~35 internal and external systems; conduct quarterly access reviews. * Review and reconcile monthly bank fees. * Research discrepancies and communicate between internal teams and banking partners. * Complete additional adhoc treasury and finance tasks as needed. Required Skills * Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups, formulas) * Strong written and verbal communication * High attention to detail * Ability to multitask and work in a fastpaced environment Preferred Qualifications * Experience in banking, finance, or as a bank teller * Familiarity with treasury or financial operations Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Westlake Village, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $31.25/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
