As a Security Officer - Patrol in Westfield, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with professional customer service. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams, and respond to issues with a calm, people-first approach. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and emergency response activities appropriate for a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with clinical staff and/or local responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of assigned buildings, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entrances, waiting areas, and other assigned posts; assist with visitor direction, wayfinding, and de-escalation support when needed.
• Document security-related observations, incidents, and patrol activity in written reports, and communicate status updates to Allied Universal supervision and site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
