A seasonal, part-time Wine Tent Lead job in Woodinville, WA is available at Chateau Ste. Michelle. The Wine Tent Lead owns end-to-end execution of the wine tent during concerts including staffing oversight, product availability, responsible alcohol service and guest services issue escalation resolution. The leader will ensure full compliance with team members for alcohol regulations. They will coordinate day of inventory needs with Live Nation and Stock team and serve as the key liaison for concert operations leadership and lead the wine tent through successful opening and closing.

This is a seasonal, part-time hourly role that is eligible for tips. This seasonal opportunity generally runs from May through September, depending on business needs. This role requires availability in the evenings and on weekends to support our Summer Concert Series.

Wine Tent Lead job responsibilities include:



  • Ensure staff is trained and ready to open for sale each concert day with the opening of the concert gates.
  • Help in the set up and tear down of the wine cocktail tent for each concert.
  • Collaborate with Live Nation F&B Manager on product supply
  • Troubleshoot POS issues
  • Have oversight and leadership to ensure that all cashiers are meeting compliance standards of carding guests, checking ID's and ensuring no sales to a guest that shows signs of intoxication.
  • Main point of contact for any escalated customer service issues in the wine tent.
  • Coordinate with Stock for products as needed onsite.
  • Collaborate with Wine Cocktail Tent Lead and Wine Cocktail Tent Cashiers to provide cross-coverage support as needed to the Wine Cocktail Tent to ensure smooth guest experience.
  • Escalate any consumer concerns to leadership.


Physical Requirements:



  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions.


Position Requirements:



  • Must be at least 21 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • MAST 12 Class Permit and Food Handler's Permit required.
  • Basic understanding and knowledge of wine.
  • Cash register experience preferred with proficiency in Point of Sales (POS) systems.
  • Customer service experience required (retail/hospitality is preferred).
  • Strong communication skills, customer service skills, sales skills, and the ability to prioritize while handling multiple tasks is required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment as part of a team.
  • Must be flexible and available to work varied hours.
  • History of responsible use of alcohol and other appropriate conduct, as well as fitness to be licensed, permitted, and/or certified by state and/or local regulatory bodies.


      Your Compensation:

      $21.41 - $27.83 per hour based upon relevant experience.
