Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized Mid-Level Logistics Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be ensuring the seamless flow of goods, with a primary focus on international export compliance, master data maintenance (Part Set-up), and ERP system accuracy. The ideal candidate will combine analytical skills with hands-on logistics experience to optimize our shipping processes and maintain 100% compliance with international regulations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Export Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure full adherence to international trade regulations, ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations), and EAR (Export Administration Regulations).

  • Assign Harmonized System (HS) tariff codes, Schedule B classifications, and Export Control Classification Numbers (ECCNs) for all products.

  • Serve as contact for freight forwarders and customs brokers to ensure timely, compliant shipments.

2. Part Set-up & Master Data Management

  • Create, maintain, and update part numbers, descriptions, and attributes within the ERP system.

  • Ensure accuracy of critical trade data fields, including Country of Origin, Weight, Dimensions, and ECCNs in the system database.

  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and purchasing departments to ensure accurate, timely part setups for new products.

3. Operational Logistics & Coordination

  • Coordinate outbound shipments, including scheduling, tracking, and troubleshooting delays.

  • Utilize ERP logistics modules to monitor and manage shipment accuracy.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Experience:2-3 years of experience in logistics, export compliance, or international shipping.

  • Education:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field preferred.

  • ERP Proficiency:Strong working experience with ERP systems

  • Compliance Knowledge:In-depth knowledge of U.S. Export Regulations (EAR/ITAR) and Incoterms.

  • Technical Skills:Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Soft Skills:Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

U.S. Export Controls Requirements: This job requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by the export laws of the United States. Candidates are required to provide proof of either US citizenship, Permanent US residency or classification as a protected individual as defined in 8 USC 1324b (a) (3). The hourly pay range for this position, which could be performed in the US, is $16.82 - $41.82.*

*Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
